The main boss monster in 2016.
Players quickly started referring to her as "Blightcilla," based on the fact that she doled out the blight status effect very frequently (in addition to the poison status effect) and that she was roughly Godzilla sized.
When she appeared, Blightcilla took credit for the army of monsters that was pouring out of Forum Forest, revealing that she had taken advantage of the ecological damage that had been done by the previous year's battle and the dormancy of the Forest Guardians to try and take over Forum Forest for herself.
The Queen Blight Spider appeared with a whopping 128,000 HP, the highest hit points of any monster to date. Luckily, as a boss monster, it did not regenerate health. There were two seed-planting thresholds that triggered the forest guardians to deal 20,000 damage to the Queen Blight Spider each time one was passed, first at 500 seeds planted and then again at 1000 seeds planted, for a total of 40,000 HP dealt to the Queen Blight Spider by the forest guardians.

In addition, to thank us for rescuing her/her/him/it in the previous year, the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon re-appeared and had a random chance to aid a player in battle when they attacked Blightcilla, making its own independent attack.
Still, even with the aid of the Forest Guardians AND the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon, the battle took 3 solid days.
Could inflict both poison and blight status effects.
Starting HP: 128,000
There was a relatively good chance that each time a player attacked the Queen Blight Spider, the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon would join them in the attack, dealing their her/her/his/its own damage. This was more likely to happen to players who had particularly high personal Epic Week scores.

Trivia
- The appearance of this year's boss as a "putrescent spider no one could ever love" was a direct reaction to the player base petitioning Kim to save the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon the year before. She asked Justine to design a baddie no one could possibly feel sympathy for.
