Kim VO: Our birthday is coming, but this year, I am apprehensive…
Pan past the palace, a figure silhouetted in a tower window
Kim VO: There is a legend that one of the peaks in the Kudos Mountain range is actually a slumbering volcano, held in check by powerful enchantments.
Pan across the map of the RPR, showing the Kudos Mountains.
Kim VO: Some seers say that those enchantments have slowly been fading over time, and this April is the last month that they will hold.
Glowing magic symbols etched into stone, their light fading.
Kim VO: On May 1st, I fear there will be an eruption that could wipe away the land of the RP Repository entirely.
The light of the glowing symbols goes out completely.
Kim VO: Already, earthquakes have rocked the region, a sure sign that the protective enchantments are weakening. Worse, the disturbances have awoken waves of undead monsters that are shambling down from the mountains.
Camera flying through the kudos mountain range.
Kim VO: Refugees flood the streets of Repository City, badly in need of food, shelter, and hope.
We see refugees fleeing a burning city as undead shamble through the streets.
Kim VO: For me, hope is easy. I know that this community can overcome anything when it comes together. It's the material needs that will be more challenging.
Pan past the palace again, same figure silhouetted in a tower window
Kim VO: Just as important as helping those already affected by disasters is preventing an even greater one; we must send adventurers into the Kudos Mountains to renew the fading enchantments before a volcanic eruption means there is nowhere left safe for any of us to flee.
Cut back to the Kudos mountain range. We see smoke rising from one of the mountains.

Smoke rises from the top of the mountain. Villagers gaze up at it in despair, pointing. Some are leaving town with their belongings in wagons or on their backs.
Man: It’s going to blow any day now. We’re going to have to join the evacuation.
Man 2: I just hope there’s room for us in Repository city…
Man: I hope Repository city is far enough away to be safe.
We then hear the sound of snarling coming from the forest. The villagers turn to look just in time to see dark shapes emerging from the fog. Zombies.
Man 2: We have to go NOW.
Man: But our things, our chickens!
Man 2: There’s no time for those! We have to get the children and go right now, or we’ll all be eaten!
Camera from above, slowly pulling out. We watch as villagers flee the village and into the forest, and zombies spread out through the town.

Panel 1:
Establishing shot, full width. Repository palace is in the distance. In the foreground, a tent city, with various characters huddled around cooking fires. Kim and Server are in the bottom right corner. Server has the birthday cake balanced on his head. Kim is slicing cake and directing volunteer(s).
Kim: Make sure all of the newcomers get shelter and a slice of cake. We won’t have anyone hungry or cold on our birthday!
Panel 2:
The elven scientist approaches Kim, clutching a stack of parchment/old books. Kim turns toward her.
Kim: Have you found the ritual? How do we strengthen the enchantment that keeps the volcano dormant?
Panel 3:
Elven scientist: The spell itself has been lost... but we found records in the archives from around the time it was first cast.
Panel 4:
Kim looks thoughtful. Elven scientist holds up a finger, explaining.
Kim: Can we recreate the ritual from those documents?
Elven scientist: Maybe, but we’ll need a lot of help. And a clear path to the three locations where the enchanted seals are placed.
Panel 5:
Server looks very worried. Kim looks determined, maybe puts a fist in the palm of her hand to emphasize the point.
Kim: We’ll get our best researchers and adventurers on it! Unless we stop this volcano from erupting, not even Repository City will be safe.

Show Hero hammering on a wooden frame.
Hero: This house will be a great shelter for refugees.
Princess: Now we just need to grow some food for them.
She starts planting seeds in the field next to the house. We cut between them as the Hero builds the house and the Princess farming. Shots include the Princess carrying eight buckets of water as if they’re nothing, Hero up a ladder.
When the montage is over they stand side by side, admiring each other’s handiwork.
Hero: Now we do it again!
Princess: Okay, but you take the seeds this time. I want to build a house.
They smile at each other and get to work.

Actually just one full-width panel -- the Elven scientist in a library/archive full of ancient scrolls, crumbling books, and full of dust and cobwebs. She is standing in a pile of papers, holding one up victoriously - she has found more documents pertinent to the invention of the enchanted seals!

Elven scientist: WE’VE DONE IT! The last part of the ritual!
Panel 3:
Kim throws out an arm.
Kim: GO! GO!
Panel 4:
The Elven Scientist gallops her horse through the mountains, still clutching the paper. Adventurers fight off zombies and lava monsters to keep her path clear.

Panel 7:
Monsters evaporate! The adventurers who were in combat with them look astonished.
Panel 8:
The mountain in the distance is dormant. The sky is blue and sunny again. The erstwhile refugees celebrate in the foreground with Kim and Server.

We see the group of adventurers fighting off zombies. Behind them, the runes appear and there’s a bright light. The zombies collapse. Cut to the refugee village next to the city. A bright light washes over all assembled.
Hero: They must have done it! The runes have been restored, we’re saved!
The crowd cheers. The farmers from Video 1 approach the Princess.
Farmer: Thank you for giving us shelter, we wouldn’t have made it without the support of the Repository..
Princess: It was our pleasure, that’s what this community does. We look out for each other. Now, let’s celebrate our success with birthday cake!
More cheering as they all celebrate.
